$Moonbeam13 spotted these guys on Santa Monica Beach. In my infinite wisdom, I'd left my telephoto lens back at the car. I hustled back to grab it. These guys were good, and they loved an audience. And yes, that's the famous Los Angeles smog in the background. The light was just so damn good facing that direction though, so it was worth it I think. :)

That is one hell of a good natural lighting... The pose is awesome too. The shirt that the guy has helps too for a bright hot spot while the rest is all neutral. Nice shot! ;)

Yees yes, I like this.
At first I was like "ouu, but his mouth is like..right on the top corner of the photo... hmm." but then I looked at it again and figured it was better included than not.

Great shot. Love the lighting. Composition is great even if it cuts off his head, because it makes you focus more on what he is doing. Great job of capturing that moment!

i always wonder how did people decide this would be a fun thing to do...go nutty on the bike and just twist and turn and just WEEEEE...:confused: people are crazy...

but it's fun to watch them be crazy :D

Lovely shot, feels so calm, just some guys hanging out playing with their bikes (although flatland BMX requires so much skill...) this guy looks like he is taking it in his stride.


I wish we got light like that in scotland, but I have never seen it. Gorgeous.
