I was waiting for the sun to go down at the Louvre so I could get some night time photos. As it dropped so that its rays were parallel to the earth, the far end of the courtyard was lit like gold. It's an extraordinary sight, and I'm sure the architects meant it to happen like that. They really knew how to build things in harmony with the world back then.
