Artist's Comments

It's no mystery to me why Huangshan, China's Yellow Mountain, has inspired poets and painters for centuries. I spent about 9 hours climbing the mountain's western path. I took this photo midway through my climb. The beauty of the scene gave my legs renewed strength to continue the trek.

Thanks Dave. It's really hard to go wrong in a landscape like this!

Let me at it, I'll show you how it can go wrong... Knowing me I'd want to put blood somewhere or break a glass somewhere. I could destroy that landscape in a heartbeat!!!!

Hows everything with you Kev? Keeping busy?

Hahah somehow I doubt that. You're a perfectionist, and I bet you'd have a field day on top of old Huangshan!

Things are good here. I'm keeping up a moderate and relaxing pace this summer, concentrating on building my commercial photography business, trying to take it to the next level. What are you up to this summer?

An impressive contrast with the previous picture. That wonderful sky and that visual. Congratulations for the picture.

If you go there during winter, there is the added beauty of frost covering the vegetation... Bloody cold though!
