Pearly Shower

Laura seems to be in a lot of my photos lately. That's only natural. She's a very versatile model, and a huge part of my life too. This photo wasn't originally part of my plan when I set up the shower of pearls in my studio (actually styrofoam balls suspended by fishing line) but I liked how it turned out anyway.

The gradient in the background is not lens vignetting. I put a 20 degree grid on a strobe and fired it at the white background to create that effect.
