Yes, yes, I know I haven't written a new journal in, well, forever. But good things come to those who wait, right?

Anyway, things have been good on this end. I'm rolling with the v5 punches like everyone else, and living life too. +suzi9mm is here visiting from Finland, and we're having fun hanging out and watching lame movies from zip.ca. The lamest of lame is Aeon Flux. It's clearly the worst movie I've seen since Domino. I've also been binging on Jim Jarmusch films. If you haven't seen Broken Flowers, go see it now.

Hallowe'en isn't even here, but all the parties were on the weekend, so it feels like it was over. Since I've got the Fake Blood Queen living under my roof, it went without saying that I had to be dead for Hallowe'en. It wasn't enough to be dead though. Everyone who's dead is (was) also someone else. So, I chose to be a dead hockey player. I'm a Canadian boy, eh?



Jen was a nurse, as pictured below. Suffice to say, the hat she's wearing covered more of her butt than her actual dress. For some reason, she was reluctant to be the first one walking up stairs. I think if nurses actually wore stuff like this, people would be more inclined to get sick, right?



Hallowe'en spirit seems to be everywhere though, even on dA. Rumour has it that there is a deviantART version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with our very own fella masquerading as leatherface. I can’t seem to see any information on dA about it, so maybe it’s hidden away somewhere...
